With the Database Manager GUI, you can create a new DB in a matter of seconds - simply specify its name and that's all. You will notice a list of all your databases and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to edit passwords, to create database backups and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin software tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite essential to make periodic backups of your databases to secure your website content and to steer clear of any accidental loss of data. With the Database Manager, creating a database backup is very easy. Just press the Backup button next to the database you would like to back up and you will be instantly taken to the File Manager section from where you can download your newly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can set up differs based on the shared hosting package that you have ordered.
